My Life of Dragons

Dragons

They are my ebb

They are my flow

I am in love with my dragons

yes

Because I feel I owe them that

For they are what keeps me alive

till this day

If it were not for the dragons I have

that remain around me

and those who have moved on

but still remain in my heart, as my soul

I may have committed suicide long ago

But I’ve found my soul in the dragons

and their kin

As such

I feel as though I am one with them

As if I am the soul survivor

of a long forgotten tribe

who still believes in her heritage

Yes

I do so believe that once

and maybe still

dragons existed

And for that I set my self apart

from humanity

For I am sane

and

possibly one of the only sane humans left

on Earth

that believes in the truth

that so many decide to ignore

In that I am not speaking of dragons

If you wish to know

you must think deeply into the pit of your soul

to rig out the truth

If you can not see through the dark

then you are not ready for the truth

The truth that we are all going down

Just like the mighty dragons

who once flown the skies

with out fear

with out conflict

But we are the evil that brought the dragon down

along with many others

Now the truth is that we are bringing down another species

But this one we don’t want to admit

Because that species is ourselves
