Ameliorate

                         Klaymore of the Zorg’s was very pleased as he looked out proudly at his mighty squadron from the observation deck of his flag ship. They had conquered so many celestial bodies, that he had lost count. Klaymore raised his head and arms.

    “There is no stopping us, we are the true rulers of the Universe.” He bellowed

    The alert went, throughout squadron that was in the center of body in the Ionian region; had been discovered. Klaymore licked his lips in anticipation, he loved the search, the find and then; the invasion. The squadron formed into the penetrating mode. Klaymore turned the screen from the squadron to the sight of the next battle. He got on the ship to ship.

    “Okay seniors, lets be careful, we are going into a dark one.”

    The ship took on its familiar vibrations of entry. Klaymore let out his all too familiar war cry.

    “ALL RGHT LETS GET EM!”

    The attack was going normal, when suddenly there was a violent shudder throughout the ship, then there was another. Klaymore got on the internship.

    “System command, whats happening?”

    “I don't know sir, we seem to be under attack.”

    “ATTACK, THATS IMPOSSIBLE, NO-BODIES HAD EVER BEEN ABLE TO WITHSTAND OUR INITIAL ATTACK.”

    “Attention all seniors, RETREAT, I REPEAT RETREAT. We are up against something that we are not prepared for. I…” K

    “SENIOR KLAYMORE, SENIOR KLAYMORE”,

Klaymore picked up the internship.

    “Yes”

    “Sir, the observer reveals that it is to late to retreat, the enemy is directly behind us.”

    Klaymore turned to the screen, only seven ships remained, six, five, four, three, two….

Two weeks later

    “Well, Doctor Lyman, let me be the first to congratulate you, the cancer antigen seems to work, the cancer is in total remission.”
